Claim Spot is ToolPix's pay-per-pixel public billboard. For $5.00 per pixel, founders and advertisers buy permanent blocks on a 100 × 100 grid, upload branded artwork, and link every pixel to their website. Unlike fleeting ad campaigns, Claim Spot placements never expire, rotate, or get outbid.

How Claim Spot Works
Claim Spot is a 100 × 100 grid — 10,000 pixels in total. You buy a block of them outright for $5.00 each, upload artwork sized for the shape of your block, and give us a URL. From that moment on, every pixel you own is a live link to your site. There is no auction, no rotation and no expiry: the space is yours.
Selecting works like booking cinema seats. Drag across the board to mark a rectangle, and the pixels turn green as you go. Once you are happy with the shape, decide how many brands should share it — one brand can span every pixel you picked, or you can split the block into several rectangles, each with a different image and a different destination.

Why the artwork is never duplicated
If two of your slots use the same picture — or ten of them do — we only store it once. Every image is fingerprinted after optimisation, so byte-identical results collapse into a single stored file. That keeps your board fast, keeps storage costs out of the price, and means re-uploading the same artwork is instant.
Click tracking
Every pixel routes through /claim-spot/go before it sends the visitor on to your site, which is how we count real clicks. Repeat clicks from the same visitor inside 24 hours are counted once, so the number you see is a fair measure of genuine interest rather than refreshes.

What happens after I pay?
The payment is captured, your pixels flip from reserved to claimed, and your artwork is published immediately. You will see it on the board the moment you close the checkout.
Can somebody buy the pixels I already own?
No. Every pixel has a unique position in the database, and a reservation is all-or-nothing. If a block you are buying gets taken while you are checking out, the whole order fails and you are asked to pick again — you are never charged for a partial claim.
What image formats can I upload?
PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF up to 10 MB. Animated GIFs use their first frame. Everything is re-encoded to WebP at the exact size your slot needs, so a heavy PNG never slows the board.
How do destination links work and are they tracked?
Every claimed spot links to your destination website via our analytics redirect (/claim-spot/go/<brand_id>). The redirect passes strict-origin-when-cross-origin referrer data so ToolPix appears directly in your Google Analytics, Plausible, or server logs as the referring source, while de-duplicating clicks per IP over 24 hours.
How big can one order be?
Up to 1,000 pixels in a single checkout. If you want a larger campaign, place several orders — they tile the board just the same.
Pick your pixels
Drag across the board to select a block. Light pixels are free, red ones are already claimed, green ones are yours. Hold Shift to add another block without losing the first.
Split your block
You picked 0 pixels. Decide how many brands share them — one brand can cover the whole block, or you can split it into separate rectangles each with its own image and link.
Artwork & links
Each slot needs an image and a destination URL. Images are optimised, resized to the exact slot size and compressed before they are stored — and identical images are only ever saved once.
Review & pay
PayPal adds its processing fee on top of the pixel price, so the total below is exactly what you will be charged. Nothing appears on the board until the payment completes.
We send your purchase confirmation and direct link to manage your pixels to this address.
